You do not train Eterna in a separate process. You simply use Eternem, and the companion forms underneath what you are already doing.

• Semantic memory search. When a loved one asks a question, Eterna searches your memories by meaning, not keywords. A question about courage can surface a story you never tagged that way, because the system understands what the story was about.
• Text and voice conversations. Family can read your replies or hear them spoken aloud, choosing from 13 voices so the companion can sound close to how you sounded.
• Act As mode. This is the heart of it. In Act As mode, Eterna stops being a neutral assistant and answers in the first person as you, drawing only on what you recorded, so the response carries your perspective rather than a generic one.
